Step by Step Demonstration teaching how to Glaze using Acrylic Paint

March 29, 2017 by Ralph S Leave a Comment

Join Matt, the virtual instructor as he demonstrates one method for glazing with acrylic paint.

He first begins with a light drawing in graphite pencil. He then develops his underpainting using only greys made from black and white. This enables you to only focus on values and not colors at this stage. The color comes later after the intial underpainting is done.

After the underpainting has been completed, the real fun begins. That is when you start applying the glazes. I will let the Matt explain the rest of the process in the video below. Enjoy!
