My name is Ralph Serpe and I am webmaster and founder of the Art Instruction Blog. I created this Website back in 2007 to provide Artists with free, quality art instruction as well as other great resources to help you become a better Artist.  I hope this site meets or exceeds your expectations.

This site offers free lessons on a variety of different mediums including oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor, drawing, mixed media and more.

If you have not done so already, I highly recommend that you subscribe to my Newsletter so that you will be notified whenever a new lesson or other resource is posted.

If you have any comments, suggestions or questions about the website, please feel free to contact me.

A lot of time has been invested into the building, maintenance and growth of this Website.  In order for this website to remain online, I need your help.

You can help in a number of ways:

Donate:   If you are feeling generous, please consider donating whatever you can afford.

Purchasing:  As an Artist, you are going to eventually need certain items.  Things like art supplies, books, home study courses, dvd’s, etc.  Please consider purchasing your materials through the affiliate links on this website.  I receive a small affiliate commission from the sale of various resources listed on this site and a large portion of that money is used to keep this site up and running .
