Karrie on Canvas: Acrylic Painting Lesson – “Jazz it Up!”

February 24, 2011 by Ralph S 2 Comments

Here is another full episode of the program “Karrie on Canvas” with artist Karrie Evenson. In this episode, Karrie demonstrates how you can use music to inspire your creativity.  Karrie also shows you how to create a painting without any real planning, to let go and  just “Wing It” as she puts it.

Karrie uses musicians as her subject in this demonstration, but you do not have to paint the same subject. Pick any subject you want.  It is the process that she uses to complete this painting that she would like you to try.

Enjoy this acrylic painting demonstration.

Here is what you will need to complete your painting:

  • Medium Size Canvas
  • Medium to Large Paint Brushes
  • Assorted Acrylic Paint
  • Paper Towels or Rags
  • Water for Cleaning Brushes
